Abstract Raag is an electronic piece that was born from my desire to experiment with new technical music and produce ambient sounds using modular synthesizers. I discovered VCV Rack, an open-source, cross-platform modular synthesizer software that made it easy for me to learn and create the music that I prefer. The reason for the name "Abstract Raag" is because I used a random sampler module to generate raga (traditional Indian melody) notes, but the rhythm of the notes is different from traditional raga, making it abstract. This gives the piece a unique and innovative twist on the traditional form.
